  1. Make A Wish By: Chloe, Morelia and Kaitlyn.

  2. How Wishes Are Granted First: A child has to be referred. That means a doctor or their parents give their name to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Second: To receive a wish a child has to be diagnosed with a life threatening disease. That means the disease could take their life away.

  3. How Wishes Are Granted Third: Make-A-Wish sends a wish teams to learn each child’s One True Wish. Fourth: The wish granters create an unforgettable experience

  4. Katie Katie loved basketball. She watched it, played it and talked about it. Katie wanted to play basketball when she grew up. She had hoop dreams. But when she was 11, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

  5. Katie • Her wish was to meet Michael Jordon, her hero. • Katie made it through the disease and now she works for Make-A-Wish • Because she wants to help other kids the way Make-A-Wish helped her
