Staggered Release of Pilot Teacher Reporting • November 11: PILOT LEA District and School Admin receive access to PVAAS teacher specific reporting • Dec 2: LEA PILOT Teachers receive access to PVAAS teacher specific reporting • Rationale for staggered release: Feedback from LEA Superintendents to give PILOT LEA admin an opportunity to review reports and participate in webinars - to prepare for questions from teachers.

PVAAS PILOT LEA Trainings • LIVE on-site training at each IU • Suggest IU EE, IU PVAAS to Participate • ONLY for teachers and admin that participated in the PVAAS Roster Verification Pilot in Spring 2013 • Review of the concept of growth and introduce the PVAAS Teacher Reports • Focus is to address key understandings and use of PVAAS teacher specific reporting

LEA Guide to SY13-14 Implementation of PVAAS Teacher Specific Reporting • Anticipate release Aug 1 • Dissemination by IUs to All LEAs: • Supt • Assist Supt/Directors/C & I • Directors of Special Education • Technology/Data/SIS/PIMS Staff • IU staff providing EE/IU Data Needs • Will be emailed to All PVAAS account holders and posted on PVAAS Login page

Spring 2013 LEA PILOT • All LEAs invited to participate in SY12-13 PVAAS Teacher Specific Reporting PILOT • 273 Pilot LEAs • LEA Representation in all IU regions • Districts • Charter Schools/Cyber Charter Schools • CTCs • IUs as LEAs • Encourage IUs to facilitate regional discussions with LEAs to hear lessons learned from PILOT LEAs in your region • Ex. Job Alike Groups (Supt, Asst Supt, PIMS/SIS/Data staff) • Take Away from Pilot: PIMS Enhancements for Educator Effectiveness will save LEA time

Plan NOW to Save Time in Spring 2014 Staff Time – Teachers and Administrators • Accurate and complete data into PIMS WILL save time for your teachers who are eligible for a PVAAS score • Accurate and complete data into PIMS WILL save time for your principals and district admin who will support the teachers who are eligible for a PVAAS score • Approximately 30-40% of your teaching staff will be eligible for a PVAAS teacher specific score
