  6. Aim To enhance the proficiency of port security staff in screening items being delivered to the port facility

  7. Objectives • Security staff expected to screen items according to procedures in the PFSP. • Security staff expected to handle suspicious items according to procedures in the PFSP.

  8. Desired outcomes • Security staff will be able to: • Properly screen items being delivered into the port facility • Detect suspicious items in a delivery. • Take the appropriate action to deal with the suspicious item.

  11. Scenario • A terrorist cell is targeting transportation in the country to cause disruption to business and loss of confidence in the government • The cell will try to mount an attack on the Port Facility and ships alongside
