  2. Read all instructions carefully before you begin your lab.

  3. Check that your equipment is clean before and after you use it. Check for chips and cracks to make sure the equipment is safe to use.

  4. Disturbing students while they are working is dangerous.

  5. It is every student’s job to clean up in the lab. Make sure that your lab area is clear of all books, notebooks, and papers. It should be a clean area to start and end with.

  6. Walk , don’t run or ever play during a lab. You should give your work your full attention

  7. When smelling liquids you must waft it toward you with your hand. When working with liquids you should wear protective goggles.
