Some suggestions: • You might one to create 2 such art pieces, one on your sketchbook and one as a greeting card to welcome the Chinese New Year. • Good art pieces will be collected and displayed for Chinese New Year. Remember to ask your art teacher to collect back the art pieces after the celebration.

  4. Things you need: • Poster paint • Water • Brush or cotton bud • Tiny spoon • Straw • Masking tape

  5. Follow these steps • Tape up the 4 borders using masking tape. • Choose a background colour: Cool or warm colours • Draw the position of the moon and paint the background using a big brush. • Leave to dry.

  6. Once dried, use dripping and blowing technique • Mixed some water to black poster paint. Make sure it is diluted. • Do not remove the tape. • Scoop a small amount of black paint with a tiny spoon and drip it onto your painting. • Use a straw to blow the black paint.

  7. Use a cotton bud, tip of a brush or brush to dot in the flowers. • Once dried, remove the tape and using a black marker, initial your name and write “Happy New Year” or any related CNY greetings.
