Registration preparation • Progression of continuing students (now complete) 1st August – 9th August 2013 • Transfer of new applicants during August (RPR for unconditional, RCD for conditional) • New students can activate their IT access using the security code on receipt of the welcome email/ or their Unicard number • Students can select online modules from Tuesday 27th August 2013 • Online registration for PG & PGCE students available from Monday 2nd September 2013 • Online registration for UG students available from Monday 9th September 2013 • Online registration will close for all on Friday 4thOctober 2013

New Developments • New modes of attendance to comply with new HESA Mobility requirements for 2013/4 FAS/FAW/FIP as standard for full academic year study FAV - Volunteering Abroad for full year FIV - Industrial Placement in the UK for full year FS – Full Time Sandwich Course for full year FSM – Multiple Placements for full year

Communicating with students All new students: • Sent welcome email from Admissions All PG & PGCE students who are RPR: • Receive email when online registration opens 2nd September 2013 All UG students who are RPR: • Receive email when online registration opens 9th September 2013 • Reminders on 20th September and 27th September • Registration closes at midnight on 4th October Only students who are RPR will receive reminders

  7. 2013/4 Online Registration • Who can register? • New Unconditional Home/EU: Full Time UG/PG/PGCE/ & Distance Learners/ Part Time PG/ Returning students All RPR status can register off campus prior to arrival • New Conditional: International Full Time, Erasmus, JYA, any with DBS (CRB) outstanding All RCD status need to be cleared to register by presenting original documents to Admissions on campus • SITS Statuses • RPR (provisionally enrolled) able to register • RCD (conditional), RHL* (results held or interrupted), RDB (debtor) unable to register A late fee of £50 may be payable if students do not register within the allocated dates.

Post-Registration Processes • On Monday 7thOctober RPR status amended to “Not Registered” (RNR) • IT access withdrawn from next working day • Spreadsheets of non-registered students supplied to Colleges - any ‘No shows’ (RCD, RNR) investigated by Colleges, Admissions and Registry • Colleges are encouraged to run their Oracle report to identify non-registrations • Any special cases to be discussed direct with Registry please not the Student Information Desk (regadmin@exeter.ac.uk if by email)

  15. Late Arrivals for International Tier 4 students • Tier 4 conditional students remain as RCD after registration closes. • If the student is due to arrive after the programme start date please record the late arrival date and reason in SPR UDF “PBS Late Arrival date” • Automatic notification is sent to PBS Compliance and Accommodation • To comply with Home Office legislation we are required to report non-enrolments within a strict deadline No student is reported for non-registration to the Home Office without prior consultation with the College
