  3. The Ins and Outs • Hire-A-Husband is a sole proprietorship • The services of handymen/friendly men will be offered on an hourly basis • From Home repair to childcare, specialized men will provide the feeling of an actual husband. (Sexual services not provided.)

  4. The Ins and Outs cont. • Profitability reasons: More than 50% of women today over thirty are either divorced or single, which opens up a wide market for women in need of help around the house, in the yard, with the kids and the car.

  5. The Ins and Outs cont.2 • Office hours are from 9am-5pm to schedule appointments, and appointments are held until 1am for childcare services and 9pm for all other appointments

  6. Benefiting the Customer • It will help both single and divorced women with chores around the house, repairs, and children. With this help, Hire-A-Husband hopes to give hardworking women everywhere some much needed rest and relaxation. • Help around the house is always needed and the grass never stops growing, so there will always be a need for our services. Because of these everyday demands, our cash flow should remain stable.

  7. Benefiting the Customer Cont. • I feel that my business is different because the “husbands” will develop relationships with each individual customer allowing for growth through referrals.

Location Location Location! • My business will only require a small office space with access to a phone and an internet host server. • Preferably an office would be most useful in a large city where the office can be easily seen. A downtown area would work best. • In a downtown, public transportation would be easily accessible which would broaden business opportunities.

Therefore, the market will be growing at a rapid pace. • There is much room for growth within this market. Since this is a new idea, there will be a lot of expansion. • Pricing Strategy: above the competition

  12. Competitors Cont. • Their strengths are that they specialize in one good or service, so they have more experience. Their weakness is the fact that our men will be more well rounded and be able to perform more than one task. Also, our employees are trained to become friends who create a trusting relationship with the customer.
