What is Edmodo? • Free and secure social learning network for teachers, students, parents and schools. • It offers a real-time platform to exchange ideas, share content, and access homework, grades and school notices. • Allows teachers and students to participate in microblogging discussions, respond to polls, and manage and submit assignments. • Edmodo has a similar interface to Facebook. • There is an Edmodo ‘app’ for iPhones. • (Buescher, 2010) EDUC399 Communications
