  4. MFsgf Multiply the number in front of x2,(in this case, 8) by the number with no x(in this case, -28).

  5. MFsgf Factor (-224) and evaluate the results for combinations that add to equal the number in front of x, (in this case, 2).

  6. MFsgf Substitute the factors for the number in front of x.

  7. MFsgf Group the first two terms and last two terms.

  8. MFsgf Factor to find a common linear term.

  9. MFsgf Group like terms.

  10. MFsgf Confirm accuracy by multiplying resulting factors.

  11. MFsgf Combine like terms.
