  1. Pyramid Solitaire is a difficult solitaire card game. Play Pyramid Solitaire Online, at The Dig solitaire it's a free online solitaire card game where the player try to match two of a kind of cards that totals 13.

  2. Objective Pairs of showing cards that total 13 are removed and located in a single discard pile at the top left of the play spot. The object of the game is to discard all 52 cards, pulling down the pyramid in the procedure. Aces count as 1, Jacks 11, Queens 12 and Kings total 13 in themselves and as such, are discarded as a solo card rather than as a pair.

  3. Pyramid Rules • At a time cards are twisted from the stock one card. If the card cannot be matching with another available card, it is useless to a waste pile, the top uncovered card of which is forever accessible for pairing. At any time, any pair of accessible cards that total 13, or single uncovered kings may be moved to the refuse pile. Available cards are any cards that are completely exposed and include any of the six reserve cards, the last card turned from the stock, the top card of the waste pile and any totally exposed card in the pyramid. Only the six cards in the bottom row of the pyramid are on hand at the beginningof the game, and as they are removed, they make cards higher up in the pyramid obtainable. For a pyramid card to be obtainable, it must be completely exposed by removing the two cards covering it. When the stock has been exhausted and no additional pairs of 13 can be found, the game is over.

In the above screen shot, the K can be discarded on its own along with the following pairs of cards: • Q and A • J and 2 • 8 and 5 • 7 and 6 • 4 and 9 • Game Controls Specific To Pyramid • Exposed cards perhaps turned face down by moving the mouse pointer over them and clicking on them. To remove a pair of cards that total 13, click on both cards (or a single King) to turn them both face down, then click on the remove pile in the top left of the screen. The cards will fly there repeatedly. If you create a mistake, then you can turn face down cards, face up once more by clicking on them once again.
