  2. It all started in 2001, when brand Lumix of Panasonic Corp. came into existence with their 1st point to shoot cameras with DMC-LC5 and DMC-F7 models & best camera lens in association with Leica. Over the years, the brand has been coming up with the upgraded versions of the original model but with the change in consumer preference & technological shift, it was time for the brand to go beyond point and shoot and explore the DSLR/DSLM category.
