  1. 6 Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks Stretch marks is a condition that affects the young and old alike. Stretch marks are caused by rapid stretching of the skin associated with rapid growth or weight changes. Stretch marks, also known as striae, are a form of scarring on the skin with an off-colour hue. There are various stretch mark removal methods by which you can reduce the visibility of stretch marks to a great extent. Here are natural remedies to reduce stretch marks: 1.Cocoa butter – Cocoa butter is one of the most effective ways to treat and prevent stretch marks as it has excellent moisturising properties. Applying it during pregnancy will prevent your skin from drying and getting stretch marks. Cocoa butter can work on all types of stretch marks, not just those obtained during pregnancy. So, whatever the kind of stretch marks you have, cocoa butter should be your go-to option. It’s readily available, smells amazing, and gives your skin an instant glow. 2. Aloe vera- Aloe vera not only has amazing healing properties but is great for regenerating skin tissues. Rub aloe vera gel or cream on the affected area, and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash off with tepid water. Do it every day at least for a month.

  2. 3. Olive oil and almond oil - Both great sources of vitamin E, and other antioxidants, which help keep your skin moisturised. Use them in equal quantities to reduce stretch marks. Massage a mixture of olive oil and almond oil onto your skin before going to bed. For more effective results you could do it after taking a warm shower. 4. Sugar- Sugar has amazing exfoliating properties. Mix raw sugar with a few drops of lemon juice and a little almond oil, massage onto skin for 10 minutes and then wipe off with a warm towel. Do this for at least a month. 5. Lime juice and cucumber juice- Mix lime juice and cucumber juice in equal parts, and apply the mixture on the affected areas till it gets soaked up by the skin. Allow it to work its magic for about 15 minutes. Wipe with a warm towel. Now, apply olive oil or your regular body lotion. Do this at least twice a week. 6. Egg whites mask- Egg whites are a great source of amino acids and proteins and can help in reducing the appearance of stretch marks. Take egg whites in a bowl and whisk well till they start to appear a bit creamy. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with warm water. Apply oil afterwards. Remember, stretch marks never disappear fully but these remedies can certainly reduce their appearance and make your skin look smoother and more even.
