Negative Informal Commands • Affirmative: to do something • Negative: NOT to do something • Informal: tú • To conjugate a negative informal command: • Find the 1st person conjugation Yo form • Correr & Hablar • Corro & Hablo • Take off the “o” ending • “-AR” = -ES • “-ER-IR” = “-AS • Corras • Hables • Add a NO in front of your newly-conjugated verb! • NoCorras • NoHables

  27. Accents on commands • If your commands with pronouns are three or more syllables, you put an accent on the 3rd to the last syllable: • Cómelo • Ábrelas • Invítalos
