TeraGrid GREEN TEAM Engagement Activity • Guests visit each of the eleven RP sites to find trading cards • Photos of green team members and green facts featured • Autographed card returned to the TG booth establishes eligibility to win prizes—gift certificates to local restaurants, merchant coupons, and one grand prize each day! • Following are examples of green facts from NCAR: • Leader in providing a suite of alternative transportation options to employees, including: • Free regional bus pass • Inter-campus shuttle that connects to local bus stations and shopping • Pool of bikes for employee use· • 85 tons of recyclables and compostable food waste diverted from the landfill in 2008 • New employees receive an introduction to conservation practices at UCAR·

Facts & RP Involvement • TeraGrid will feature electronic RP posters this year—not printed. • There are no presentations in the TG booth. • RP personnel will volunteer to staff the TG booth, like last year. Participation schedule is available on the wiki: http://www.teragridforum.org/mediawiki/index.php?title=SC09_Planning • Let us know what presentations are scheduled for your booths—we will develop a composite schedule. • All RPs will feature the TeraGrid pylon with a map of all TG booth locations.
