  6. T-score vs. Z-score • We decided to use a t-score because we did not survey a population, but rather a sample of a population to figure out the number of hours worked by seniors. Also, the population standard deviation is unknown.

  11. Which one? • We decided to use the 95% confidence level because it is the most commonly used. A 95% confidence level is larger than a 90%, but smaller than a 99%. We did not want it to be too large or too small.

  12. Conclusion • Overall, we found that the averagenumber of hours worked by seniors during the week is 11.98 hours. • We found that the highest number of hours worked is 45 hours, and the least amount is .5 hours. There were also many people who did not have a job at all.
