  4. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RELEVANT AND IRRELEVANT DETAILS? -relevant- • information that is important. A relevant detail is necessary for the claim. A details that supports the claim. -irrelevant- • information that is not needed. A Detail that does not support the claim or a detail that has nothing to do with your claim.

  5. PURPOSE OF LESSON • This lesson gives students a better idea as to what is an important detail and what is not an important detail.

The NY Yankees or the NY Mets Vocabulary: Convince --Persuade

SIGNIFICANCE:WHAT ARE SOME OF THE LONG TERM HISTORICAL EFFECTS OF AGRICULTURE? • Without agriculture we would still be living in a primitive world without much technology. • We would still be hunter gatherers as our ancestors were. • Agriculture allowed for us to settle down, build homes, and focus our attention on things other than finding food and staying warm. • In that sense agriculture has shaped our history and brought us to where we are today.
