  4. Our Daily Schedule • 9-9:10 Morning work, calendar • 9:15-9:45 TEAM TIME • 9:45-11:20 ELA (Reading, Writing, Spelling, Grammar, Speaking, Listening) • 11:22-12:52 Lunch

  5. Our Daily Schedule • 11:50-12:00--Homework • 12:00-12:30 Recess • 12:30-1:30 MATH • 1:35-2:25 –Special • 2:30-3:20 -- Social Studies, Science ELA or Math

  6. Specials • Monday—ART • Tuesday– Library (drop off books on Tuesday morning in bin) • Wednesday– PE (gym) sneakers • Thursday– Music • Friday– PE (gym) sneakers

  10. Guided Reading • Daily 5-students complete stations independently. Word Work, Read to self, Read to partner, Listen to story, Write. • Meet with teacher in small group to read, work on concepts.

  11. ELA Tests • Weekly Spelling Tests • 15 words now + 2 sentences • 20 words 2nd half of year + 3 sentences • Challenge Words are optional • Bi-weekly Reading tests • 6 Theme tests

  16. Behavior Mod Program • Start each day with 50 points • Can earn bonus points (They are like money—You can buy back a regular point for 5¢.) • Earn privileges each week • In November we will look at how to get off point cards.
