  4. Cautions while using Puzzlemaker • Still suggests proofreading puzzles for unwanted words • Files only viewable in Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers 4.0 or higher • Site does not give decent description of puzzles (have to make a sample to see what it is).

  5. How does this benefit learning? • Makes learning FUN! • Ex.) The math puzzles involve critical thinking, reasoning, and math skills but students may be more intrigued simply because it is a game/puzzle. • Could be used as quiet, but educational, on-topic work (after a test, etc) • Introduction to a topic • Ex.) Could use a “hidden message” puzzle to introduce vocabulary words with the main topic of the next lesson being the hidden message.
