  2. Miniature Spotted PigaffeGiraffa Jubatus • Miniature Spotted Pigaffe • Scientific Name: Giraffa Jubatus • This animal lives in Africa and United States and loves to eat trees and grass. They can vary in size anywhere from 300-2500 pounds. They make a great pet, but because they love grass you might want to keep it outside. You can only buy the males because the females aren’t very friendly. Females can get up to 5 feet tall, but males can only get up to about 4 feet tall. They have cheetah spots so animals won’t bother them because they think it’s a cheetah. Females have horns so they can be very dangerous. They also have huge ears, so don’t try to sneak up on them because they will attack with their horns. They have short legs so they’re not very fast. If you find a friendly one you might be able to ride it.

Joeys grow fast and eventually resemble their parents by the age of one. They stay in their parent’s pouch until they are one year of age. Buckaroos are endangered species and are kept in the Serengeti because farmers often trap and kill Buckaroos for eating their crops. Buckaroo’s main defense mechanism is their strong hind legs, which they use to send predators running away. They travel in packs called mobs. Female Buckaroos can control the size of their pouch by contracting their muscles.
