  1. Characters • Peter- the eldest, brave, a leader • Susan- eldest girl, kind, gentle • Edmund- spiteful, bully, changes the most • Lucy- youngest, discovers Narnia, loyal

  2. Setting • The professor’s house- large, magical, interesting • Narnia- winter, enchanted, mythical

  3. Plot • Lucy discovers Narnia • Lucy meets Mr. Tumnus • Others don’t believe Lucy • Edmund enters Narnia • Edmund meets the Queen • Queen wins Edmund over • All children enter Narnia • Children meet Mr. Beaver • Edmund leaves to join the witch • The beavers take the remain children to meet Aslan • Children meet Aslan at the Stone Table • A wolf attacks the girls but Peter kills the wolf • Edmund is rescued • The witch demands the right to kill Edmund

  4. Plot continued • Aslan agrees to be killed instead of Edmund • The witch kills aslan • The witch attacks the rest of Aslan’s followers • Aslan comes back to life • Aslan frees the statues in the witch’s castle • Aslan’s army defeats the witch’s army • The children become kings and queens • The children grow up in Narnia • They eventually discover the wardrobe and go through it to return to the professor’s house and at the current time

  5. Author • C.S. Lewis was born in Ireland on November 29, 1898 • Grew up in Ireland • Went to university and eventually became a teacher at university • He wrote many books on religious subjects • Died in 1960

  6. Evaluation • I loved this book because: • Good defeated evil • There are some funny parts in it • I like books that have fantasy characters and this book had lots of those
