  13. SYMPTOMS OF THUJA • Swallows words at the end of the sentence. Forgetful while speaking.(hyperamnesia) • Sleeplessness at night , restlessness & tossing about • Anguish which does not allow him to sleep • Sleep full of dreams & startings(stupor)

  14. Walks her room in a circle , inability to accomplish most simple work , dressing (motor changes) • Makes no demand for food , has to be reminded to take it(hyperamnesia) • Mental dullness with fastidiousness, no desire to work (stupor)

  16. SYMPTOMS OF THUJA • They magnify his mistrust & the lack of affections. • Fixed ideas as if a strange person were at his side, as if soul & body were separate , as if something alive in abdomen.

  17. He thinks • he is being persuaded • someone is walking with him • he is a criminal • He is about to die, that his time has arrived • He sees • strangers • people by his side

  18. Sensation as if whole body were thin & delicate & could break on least attack, as if continuity of body would be dissolved • Limbs are made of glass, • As if a living animal were in abdomen • Talks about being under the influence of a superior power (Delusion of influence)

  19. He believes to be under a superhuman control which decides for him (delusion of influence) • Overvaluation & superiority feelings make him feel possessed by a superior force , feels he is the chosen one.(delusion of exaltation or grandeur)

  20. He thinks that he is divided into two parts , that his soul & body are apart , that his head belongs to someone else. (delusion) • He sometimes feel that something is alive in his abdomen , more concretely in his right iliac cavity and he hears voices inside these places. (Psychomotor Hallucination)

  21. The patient doesn’t recognise his own identity . He thinks he is living in a dream , or some objects & certain unknown places seem to be familiar (Nihilistic delusion) • She can hallucinate that she is pregnant

  22. DISORGANIZED TYPE/HEBEPHRENIC • Disorganized thoughts • Over scrupulousness about trivial things • Neologism • Grimacing • Halluciationsesp auditory • Delusions- Persecutory, hypochondriacal, religious

Symptoms of Thuja- • DISORGANISED THOUGHTS • Makes mistakes in talking , writing & looking • In reading or writing uses wrong expressions ,& omits words (impaired concentration) • Commences every sentence without ability to finish it • Cannot think talks slowly as if hunting for words, uses wrong words • Talks hastily & swallows words

  30. Symptoms OF THUJA • APPREHENSION • Anxious apprehension respecting the failure • IRRITABILITY • Overexcited • Quarrelsome • Easily angered about trifles • Irritable

  31. WORRY • Feels that nobody would love them if they really knew them. • Feels unattractive. • Have problems finding their identity. • Loathing of life • Exceedingly out of tune , sad & disposed to weep • Mental uneasiness , low spirited & disposing, passionate • morose • dissatisfied

FEAR OF IMPENDING DISASTER • Mental depression , after child breath , in consequence of being told that has been a slight rupture of perineum, • Is in constant anguish • Goes quiet ,thinks she cannot sleep , • Has no appetite , shuns people , doesn’t answer cant count , doesn’t care for the children or her relatives

  40. REDUCED SELF-ESTEEM AND PESSIMISM • Low self-esteem. • Feelings of worthlessness. • Feels that nobody would love them if they really knew them. • Feels unattractive. • Have problems finding their identity. • Tries to fit in. Imitates the behavior of popular, successful people around them.

LOSS OF INTEREST & ENJOYMENT • Everything is troublesome and distasteful to him; he is anxious and concerned about future • Disinclined to talk , agg on waking in morning • Want of disposition to do anything , ill humour anger • Indisposition to any kind of intellectual labor • No desire to work • Makes no demand for food

SUICIDAL THINKING • He is inclined towards religious diseases & as a result of the conflict between his tendancies & guilts , strongly outcrops a desperation for the salvation of his soul. • Finally he falls , overwhelmed by failures & harassed by his conscience , he wants to die , thinking more & more about the suicidal solution.

  43. He can then attempt suicide in sudden & uncontrollable desperation & self aggression , like throwing himself out of the window to end his miserable life • Out of mental depression she always have thoughts of suicide

  44. GUILT • Anxiety of conscience inundates him with guilts , self reproaches & impregnates him with a latent feeling of having acted badly.

  46. OBSCESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER • Obscessive conduct is the consequence of reiterative ideas , persistant thoughts , impulses , recurrent images , which invade the patients mind beyond his possibility of self control & which develop inevitable compulsions in him

  47. Obsession makes him suffer from absurd events & situations which doesn’t justify his guilts. • Extremely scrouplous about small things • Sleeplessness at night , restlessness & tossing about , anguish which does not allow him to sleep , sleep full of dreams & startings
