Core Processes • Certify (Building Permit) • Obtain National approval for the development of Spectrum Dependent Equipment • Support COCOMs in attaining Host Nation approval • Assign (License to Operate) • Obtain National permission to operate under specified conditions (location, time, power, frequency, emission, etc) • Certification a pre-requisite Modernize Air & Space Inventories Interference Free Operation • Register (Satellite Orbit Slots) • Perform International registration of satellite orbits and spectrum use • Participate in bi-lateral negotiations with other space faring nations • Defend/Assure Access • Advocate AF spectrum interests Internationally, and Nationally • Influence developments in technology, policy, tools, and data Modernize Space Inventory, Ensure Global Access Shape the Future Electromagnetic Environment
