Development of Consensus Best Practices for State-Level RHIOs- Five Tasks….Five months! • Research a sample of state-level RHIOs • Up to 9 state level RHIOs • Governance, financing, technology, health information exchange policies, short and long term priorities • Analyze findings to develop a framework for describing best practices and models • Convene RHIO leaders to develop consensus on best practices and models • Evaluate current conformance and alignment with ONC strategies and AHIC recommendations • Dissemination plan

Development of Consensus Best Practices for State-Level RHIOs--Key Processes • Evaluate existing state-level RHIOs for: 1) conformance with best practices, & 2) alignment with HHS strategies Develop final report & dissemination plan to encourage conformance with best practices and coordination between state-level RHIOs and ONC/HHS
