  1. Team Brian Leslie Tuesday, January 30, 2007

  2. Progress Since Last Week • Finished Array Multiplier • Progress on ALU • Sign Extender • Various MUXs

  3. A note on testing • So far, we have just been testing using few carefully chosen inputs. • We would like to create more extensive test files for the larger components.

  4. Array Multiplier • Finished and tested with a variety of inputs

  5. ALU • Completed all of 361 requirements • Completed SLT, SLE, SGT, SGE, SEQ, SNE comparisons. • Completed Shifters • 3 different components… • Waste of space

  6. ALU continued • Need to implement XOR • Need to finish ALU control • Need to test thoroughly

  7. Sign/Zero extender • 16 to 32 bit • Between instruction memory and ALU

  8. Plan for This Week • Finish and test ALU • Implement XOR and test thoroughly • Work on register files • General-Purpose and Floating-Point • Finish data memory
