  1. Posdoctoral position: 7FP Marie Curie Fellowships Spanish National Cardiovascular Research Center (CNIC), Madrid (Spain) The Nuclear Receptor Signaling group, led by Dr. Mercedes Ricote and part of the Department of Cardiovascular Development and Repair, is looking for postdoctoral candidates to apply for a Marie Curie fellowship. The project will examine signaling pathways in stem cell biology and tissue regeneration. Applicants must be experienced researchers with a doctoral degree related to medical/biological sciences and interest in cardiovascular diseases. Candidates cannot have carried out their work in Spain for more than twelve months over the last three years. Applicants must possess a strong publication record, with experience in molecular biology, cell biology and signaling. Experience with animal models of regeneration and hematopoietic/cardiac stem cells is preferable. The Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC) is a public research institute dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular research and to translating new knowledge into real improvements in clinical practice (www.cnic.es). Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowships (IEF) and International Incoming Fellowships (IIF) (http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/people/home_en.html) offer 2 year contracts.
