  1. How the Village des Sources came to be in Rimouski • Nowadays, youth live a fast-pacedlifestyle; theystudy, work, achievethings... Theirlifestyleisgoverned by computers, television, videogames, music. The life they live resembles the video clips they’reexposed to: it’s intense, rapid, oftensuperficial, quicklyabsorbed. Theseyouth have leisureactivities, outings, meetings, events. But one thingtheydon’t have is time. Theydon’t have time to think, stop, socialize, share, developstrongrelationships... No time... or no place? Both, perhaps. At the Centre Goéland, the Village des Sources l’Étoile Filante canbe a haven for youth.

  9. Mental healthrefers to a person’sability to self-evaluate. In order to self-evaluate, a person must be able to reflectbeforemakingpersonaldecisions, planning for thesedecisions and thentaking action, so as to contribute to his or heremotional, social and physicaldevelopment. I found a great deal of self-confidence and trust in others. It’s a new beginning. The Village des Sources issomething I want to do for the rest of my life!

  10. Beingresponsible and in control: feeling in control of one’s life. I amgoing to forgive 539 times withkindness, kindness, kindness. I will love people as they are, and not resort to bullying.

  11. I amgoing home with a new silence in me

  12. The mental health and wellnessrecipeis unique for everyone. I learnedthateventhoughsome people annoy us, we must stillincludethem. Otherwise, itcanlead to violence. The seedsthatwe plant in the garden of ourheart are the seedsthatwewillharvest.

  13. I amgoing home with a heart full of joy! • Satisfyingourthree mental healthneeds – being able to makechoices, feeling included and supported, and recognizingourstrengths – allows us to makehealthylifestylechoices. I learnedthatwe must respect and trust others, and have trust in ourselves.

  14. I amgoing home to try and have a freshstart.I have experiencedsomethingunforgettable and inexplicable. Re-establishing one’s identity while maintaining a core positive sense of self. . I have a renewedfaith, and in myheartthereisjoy and peace. I now have a betterconnectionwithothers in my class.

  15. Finding and preserving hope: believing in yourself, feeling like you can accomplish things, being optimistic about the future. I reallyliked how youlistened to whatwehad to say. You made time to bewith us. I amgoing home with a smile on my face and a desire to benice to everyone.
