JTG 4-5-6-7 PG Agenda item 1.1 to consider additional spectrum allocations to the mobile service on a primary basis and identification of additional frequency bands for International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT) and related regulatory provisions, to facilitate the development of terrestrial mobile broadband applications Resolution 233 (WRC-12) relates to Agenda item 1.1

JTG 4-5-6-7 PG JTG 4-5-6-7 was also tasked with the responsibility of Agenda item 1.2 Agenda item 1.2 to examine the results of ITU‑R studies on the use of the frequency band 694-790 MHz by the mobile, except aeronautical mobile, service in Region 1 and take the appropriate measures Resolution 232 (WRC-12) relates to Agenda item 1.2 relates only to ITU-R Region 1 countries (except Mongolia) and in the Islamic Republic of Iran in Region 3

  5. JTG 4-5-6-7 PG Agenda item 1.1 was the major focus of CPM15-1 CPM15-1 decided to establish a Joint Task Group to manage the studies on Agenda items 1.1 and 1.2 CPM15-1 developed Terms of Reference for JTG 4-5-6-7 CPM15-1 appointed Mr Thomas Ewers of Germany as chair of the group

JTG 4-5-6-7 PG ACMA expects high interest in Australia in Agenda item 1.1 ACMA will establish a dedicated ‘Preparatory Group’ for JTG 4-5-6-7 ‘PG JTG 4-5-6-7’ is to prepare Australia's position/views on WRC-15 Agenda item 1.1 The PG will be chaired by the ACMA The PG will input draft Agenda item text and Preliminary Australian Positions to the PG for WRC-15 Invitations to join will be announced through ARSGs 4, 5, 6, and 7.
