  2. Temperate Northeast • Average Annual Precipitation: between 18.25 in. and 38.76 in. per year • Temperature: around 30⁰F in the winter and around 75⁰F in the summer. • Average Weather: frequent overcast, considerable fog, and constant drizzle. Humidity: 83%-62%

  3. Temperate Cont. • Vegetation: includes mostly needle leaf forests • Environment: a few big cities throughout the region such as Seattle and but mostly filled with forests such as the olympic national forest.

  4. Arid Southwest • Average Annual Precipitation: 7 inches • Average Temperature: between about 41⁰F and 50⁰F in the winter and ranges 72-90⁰F in the summer. • Average Weather: very little precipitation with extremely dry summers Humidity 30%-36%

  5. Arid Cont. • Vegetation: very little. The most common plants are cacti and other plants capable of surviving in the desert • Environment: many deserts

  6. Mediterranean in the west coast • Average Annual Precipitation: Near the coast receives 10-15 inches per year and areas further away get as little as 3 inches per year. • Temperature: between 47⁰F to 58⁰F in the winter and ranges from 75⁰F to 85⁰F in the summer. • Humidity: 50%- 65%

  7. Mediterranean Cont. • Vegetation: redwood trees, ferns, grasses, • Environment: features such as redwood forests and planes.
