  1. Periodontal Disease- |Symptom|cause|Result|Treatment Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is a set of inflammatory conditions affecting the tissues surrounding the teeth. Symptom: 1.Red Swollen and bleeding gums are early signs of periodontal gum disease. 2.Periodontal or gum disease is a pathological inflammatory condition of the gum and bone support (periodontal tissues) surrounding the teeth. Cause: 1.Periodontal disease is normally arises due to bacteria in mouth infecting the tissue around the teeth. The various Risk factors include diabetes, smoking, family history, HIV/AIDS, and some medications 2.Bacteria related plaque buildup. Result:- 1.Periodontal (gum) disease is a leading cause of tooth loss and may be associated with other chronic diseases, including diabetes and heart disease. 2.Untreated periodontal disease like gingivitis and periodontitis can eventually lead to tooth loss and other health problems.
