Epoxy shear allowable is 21.7MPa (3146 psi). TF outer leg OOP Lorenz force (about 1/3 of power limit condition) Scenario 49: 99KN Scenario 79: 106KN Scenario 82: 102KN Max 19.7Mpa

  2. Max 22.5Mpa Solid ring (welded): 2.8”x2.8” Scenario 79: Utheta=10mm (0.4”) Scenario 79: shear of epoxy between coil turns is 22.5MPa (3263 psi). Max 11Mpa

  3. Max 10.7Mpa Pinned ring and radius rods Scenario 79: Utheta=2.7mm (0.1”) Scenario 79: shear of epoxy between coil turns is 10.7MPa (1551 psi). Load in radius rod: 32KN (7.3klbs) Max 9.3Mpa

  4. Max 10.7Mpa Pinned ring and softer radius rods Scenario 79: Utheta=3.1mm (0.122”) Scenario 79: shear of epoxy between coil turns is 10.7MPa (1551 psi). Load in radius rod: 26KN (5.9klbs) Max 9.7Mpa
