Cabin Inspection Check List • Pitot Tube Cover – REMOVE, check opening for blockage • Documents (AROW) - AVAILABLE IN THE AIRPLANE • OKWG Form 781A - CHECK • OKWG Form 781 – ENTER Hobbs and Tach Times • Parking Brake - SET • Control Wheel Lock - REMOVE • Ignition Switch – OFF, Key removed • Avionics Power Switch - OFF • Master Switch - ON • Fuel Quantity Indicators - CHECK QUANTITY • Low-Vacuum Warning Light - CHECK ON • Avionics Power Switch - ON

  5. Before take off Check List • Check you instruments • Check flight controls • Set your radios • Test your engine

  6. Take Off • Determine air speed • Use right rudder do to left turning tendencies (that exist when power is added) • If there is a cross wind in take off use aileron

  7. Approach to Landing

Landing and rollout • Achieve zero rate of descent a few feet above runway • Slowly flare to bleed airspeed and allow the aircraft to descend to touchdown • Continue to hold the nose off the runway • Keep your position on the center of the run way • Be aware of cross wind effects even on the ground
