  3. What is Agile Methodology • Agile methodology is an approach to project management that if applied to your work in today's world it will help you to achieve greater productivity and success.

Agile Methodology Development • In 1970, Dr. Winston Royce presented a paper entitled Managing the Development of Large Software Systems, which outlined his ideas on sequential development. • Many of the individual principles and practices that are promoted by agile development have been around for years, even decades.

  5. An Example of Agile Methodology Bankwest • Bankwest's developers used Agile Methodologies to complete 13 months' worth of work in just 15 weeks.

  6. Advantages of Agile Methodology • Responds to the changing requirements. • Quick to finish. • Good communication. • Documentation is to the point to save time. • End result is high quality software.

  7. Disadvantages of Agile Methodology • Can be difficult to assess software development. • Lack of importance on designing and documentation. • Can easily get off track. • Needs senior programmers.
