  3. 2008: Formed by a small group of grassroots programs like yours • 2009-2010: Nationwide SBYD Tour of 12 cities in 16 months • Today: 500 members in 50 states serving 25 million youth • The end result: a coalition that is FOR SBYD PRACTITIONERS, BY SBYD PRACTITIONERS Up2Us Beginnings

  6. CAA coaches are highly trained, highly-subsidized AmeriCorps members. • Adaptability for all program models/calendars • Up2Us members request coaches in November • Grant announcements made in early June • Coaches begin as early as September Building the Workforce

VISTAs work full-time for a full year to build capacity through: • Fundraising & Development • Volunteerism • Marketing & Communications • Evaluation & Outcomes Assessment • Up2Us pays a significant portion of each VISTAs’ living allowance Be on the lookout in the next month for the RFP for 2012-2012 VISTAs Building the Workforce

Volunteer & Job Opportunity Postings • Use your unique username and password to log-in to the Member Database, which includes a volunteer and job database • Post volunteer and job opportunities that the public-at-large can see • Search prospective volunteers in the database • Track volunteers’ hours and trainings right there in the database Up2Us has the only sport-specific volunteer portal, so you know your volunteers are looking to SERVE THROUGH SPORTS!
