Choosing Engineering Technology as a Career • Technology has vastly improved our lives: • Safety (front wheel drive, air bags, antilock brakes) • Work (safer, less labor intensive) • Homes (dishwashers, washing machines, dryers) • Communications (cell phones, internet) • Many types of jobs are needed in technology
