Antitrust Admonition ANTITRUST ADMONITION ERCOT strictly prohibits Market Participants and their employees who are participating in ERCOT activities from using their participation in ERCOT activities as a forum for engaging in practices or communications that violate the antitrust laws. The ERCOT Board has approved guidelines for members of ERCOT Committees, Subcommittees and Working Groups to be reviewed and followed by each Market Participant attending ERCOT meetings. Ramp Rate Issues • Ramp Rate Issues Obeserved • Zero Ramp Rate (possible ERCOT import issue) • SCED cannot move resource at all • Final Break Point set to null or zero on up/down ramp • When resource reaches this point SCED cannot move resource • Some wind resources have down ramp of 100 MW • Suspect: QSE should verify resource’s capability • Resolution • Get with the resource entity (owner) to jointly review RARF and execute any required revisions • Notify ERCOT of any pending changes http://nodal.ercot.com 6
