  2. What is a Typhoon? A typhoon is a mature tropical cyclone that develops in the north western part of the pacific ocean between 180 degrees and 100 degrees.

  3. Conditions Several atmospheric ingredients must come together for a typhoon to form. Since a typhoon is just another term for hurricane, The same conditions apply for both. They are seven atmospheric conditions witch if met could cause a typhoon.

  4. How long do the last? Typhoons typically last up to 8 to 12 hours during witch the previous normal weather gradually changes. Wind force gradually builds up more and more with very heavy rain as it comes closer the nearer the eye of the typhoon gets to you, the stronger the wind gets.

  5. When do they occur? Typhoons usually occur at the beginning of may, ending at the end of the month december. High on winds pushes the surface of the waters ahead of the system.

  6. How much damage can they cause? Typhoons can cause a lot of damage like homes and buildings it can call for millions and millions of dollars by damage depending on the category.

  7. How powerful are they? Typhoons are powerful storms with developed over water in the earths tropical regions that destructive swirling winds can reach up to 200 mph. They can have the ability to cause large scale desrution.
