  5. Three Characteristics Expected by Employers • Typing Skills – being able to type at a minimum of 100 words per minute. As the use of technology continues to advance, it will become more commonplace in the workplace. • Being Familiar with technological applications – Employers will be looking for individuals who can operate a number of differing technologies. • People Skills – with human interaction declining with the each advancement in technology, it will still be important for the students to be able to communicate person to person.
