  2. Prevent Tooth Cavities • Before we can prevent tooth cavities, we first first know what they are. Cavities develops when a tooth decays or breaks down. • A cavity is a hole that can grow bigger and deeper over time. Cavities are also called dental caries. • If you have a cavity, it's important to go to a dentist and have it repaired as soon as possible. A cavity is permanent damage that a dentist has to repair with a filling.

  3. To prevent tooth cavities, here are some important tips that you can use:

Eat Fruits, Cheese and Vegetables and Avoid Sugary Sweets • If you eat or drink often, especially foods or drinks containing sugar and starches, the repeated cycles of acid attacks cause the enamel to continue to lose minerals which can cause tooth decay. • It is important to avoid sugary sweets like candies and gums. Replace it with fruits, cheese and vegetables which will promotes healthy teeth and could help with cavity prevention.

  5. Brush your Teeth • It is important to brush at least twice a day so that you can prevent tooth cavities. Make sure that you use Fluoride which is a mineral that can prevent tooth decay from progressing. It can even reverse or stop early tooth decay. • Take your time when you are brushing your teeth, make sure that you clean your teeth thoroughly. We sometimes make a habit of rushing when we are brushing our teeth. This prevents us from cleaning teeth properly. To avoid that, take at least two minutes to brush your teeth.

Since a toothbrush's bristles can't adequately clean between the teeth or under the gums. • That is where floss comes in. It increases energy & relieves fatigue. It also boosts our immune system. There are a lot of benefits to drinking plenty of water that are not only good for your teeth but also for your body.
