  3. Volume and Lock Rotation Button • Increase and Decrease Volume • Quickly Mute (Side Switch or hold down bottom volume) • Lock Rotation • Side Switch to lock the screen rotation. In Settings, choose General>Use Side Switch…, then tap Lock Rotation.

  4. Cut, Copy, Paste, Define & Replace • Touch and hold to bring up the magnifying glass, then drag to position the insertion point. Or gently tap a word to be edited.

  5. Snap a Screenshot • Press the Power button and the Home button at the same time.

  6. Change Default Email Signature • To remove the Apple marketing signature go to: • Settings • Mail, Contacts, Calendars • Signature • Clear the “Sent from my iPad” • Type whatever you wish

  7. Using Special Characters • If the International Keyboard icon is not present, go to: • Settings>General>Keyboard>International>Keyboards> Add New Keyboard>Emoji

  8. Change Fonts In “Notes” • The default font on your iPad is “Noteworthy”. If it’s not easy to read, you can change it to “Helvetica”. • Settings>Notes • Tick “Helvetica” on the right panel

  9. Speak To Text • Find contacts • Emails • Notes • Screen search • Google search • Older versions (iPad 3): • Settings>General>Keyboard>Dictation
