  7. The punishment for the fathers • Alex Steiner: Sent to be in German army- sewing buttons on uniforms- closes his business • Hans: Sent to German Army, bomb/dead body clean up • Hans’ punishment is worse because he was a Jew lover • Hans is sent to Max’s home town

  15. Liesel loves rudy too • Rudy was putting on a suit and he trips over a mannequin , Liesel really wanted to kiss him. Even doesn’t know what happens next

  16. Another death is foreshadowed on page 443 • Unfortunately Rosa’s death was foreshadowed •  • Snoring loudly. Rosa is grieving Hansi going off to the army. • “Liesel had the urge to tell her she loved her, it’s a shame she didn’t”
