  2. A Simple Oil Merchant Psalm 19:7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; Isaiah 29:19The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD, And the poor among men shall rejoice In the Holy One of Israel.

  4. He offered his life up to the Lord • Gave away his room to his neighbor (who was in need of it for her son to get married) • Gave away his mule to the waterman who also needed it. • Went to the Monastary of St. Anthony in Upper Egypt to become a monk: Abouna Salib El Antony.

The Power of the Lord becomes more Evident in him. • Demon’s knew his name (called him Salib when he would exorcise them out of people). • Cured the sick • Always gave glory to God, and people’s faith were strengthened because of him. • Pope Petros El-Gawly ordained him as Bishop of El-Monofia
