  2. LMC Hours of Operation • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. • Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.

  3. LMC Use - During School Hours • During a Class or Study Hall All students must present a written pass from a teacher to use the LMC. • During Lunch Periods All students must present a pass from the Library Media Specialists. They are available at the LMC circulation desk from 7:15 to 10:00 a.m. every morning.

  4. LMC Use - After School • Monday – No late bus passes are issued. • Tuesday , Wednesday, Thursday: • Sign-in by 2:35: Students will be provided with a late bus pass. • Sign-in after 2:35: Students MUST present their WOHS ID cards, a hall pass, and a late bus pass from a teacher. • Friday – Closed after school.

  5. General Rules of the LMC • The LMC is to be used as a quiet area for research, reading and other appropriate activities. In order to ensure that everyone enjoys the opportunity to work and study in quiet surroundings, students must follow ALL school guidelines established for appropriate behavior. • Cell phones, iPods, headphones, and the wearing of hats are prohibited at all times. • Food and drink are prohibited in the LMC.

  6. Borrowing LMC Materials • Students must present their West Orange High School ID cards to borrow materials and are responsible for all items charged to their card. • Additional materials may be borrowed through inter-library loan.

  7. Circulation (Loan) Periods • General Collection Books – 28 days • Reference Collection Books – 1 week • Kindles – 2 weeks • DVDs – 1 week • Current Magazines – 1 week

  8. Fines for Overdue Items • General Collection Books – $.05 a day • Reference Collection Books – $.50 a day • Kindles – $3.00 a day • DVDs – $.50 a day • Current Magazines – $.50 a day • Students may not borrow additional materials if items are overdue or if a fine is owed.
