How to submit an otm

How to Submit an OTM

  • Go to http://otms.nrhh.org and click on the appropriate link under "Submit OTMs" on the left side of the Web site:

    • If you want to submit a Program OTM, click on "Program Category“

    • If you want to submit an OTM in another category (Advisor, Community, Executive Board Member, etc.), click on "General Category.“

  • Under "Please select your University," select “Drake University“

  • Complete the entire online form and hit “Submit” when finished

Tips for writing otms

Submit correct information on the form.

Make sure your OTM is month-specific.

Only mention information about the specific month

Use dates in your descriptions

Be specific and includes details.

Try to max out the OTM word count

But remember, quality over quantity

Define acronyms; they are not always universal!

The only acronyms you should use are NRHH, NACURH, RHA, and our region name MACURH

Include how the nominee went above and beyond throughout the month of nomination

Paint a clear picture of the event, individual, or group of individuals in which you are writing about.

Obtain background information on the event or individuals in which you are writing about.

A couple of quotes or general statements from attendees gives an OTM a little extra pizzazz

Presentation is key!

Proofread the OTM

Look out for bad grammar and spelling errors.
