  2. Frerikstopia • Welcome to Frerikstopia, a country with close to the same system of government as Canada. Frerikstopia is a “Teachocracy”. This means that while it holds many democratic principles like freedom and equality, the ultimate decision making powers lie in the hands of the “Teacher”. There are four main political parties that run in Frerikstopia’s federal elections. They are: the Stilettos, the Peep Toes, the Wedges, and the Flats. While there are other parties that run candidates in elections, these are the main parties of interest in any Frerikstopia federal election.

  3. Frerikstopia • Frerikstopia is largely a peaceful country, although the citizens will stand up for themselves if provoked. As well, Frerikstopia has played a diplomatic role in peace keeping missions and sent an economic emissary to Verklania to set up trade relations. Our main economic export is designer shoes and each of the provinces serves as a vital part in that venture.

  5. Flag of Frerikstopia • Frerikstopia’s flag consists of black and green lines down the sides with a pink and green shoe in its centre. Black, green and pink were chosen as the favorite colours by Frerikstopians in 1982 and are displayed proudly throughout the country. The shoe, as the country’s main export, takes a prominent role in display in the centre of the flag. Frerikstopians are very proud of their expert shoe making, and hold their collection of shoes in high esteem. The production, marketing, and sale of shoes is the primary source of income for the country.

  7. Frerikstopian Coat of Arms • Frerikstopia’s motto is “Price, mail order, and good shoes”. Obviously, citizens are concerned about price, not only of their products, but also of the raw materials needed to produce such fine quality shoes. This is a part of the motto to remind the citizens of Frerikstopia to carefully consider the supply and demand of their products and not to cause a shortage in the market that may affect the economy of the country. Mail order is a vital part of our industry, and as such, must also hold a special place in the motto as one of the main values of the country. Finally, “good shoes” largely speaks for itself as, without them, the country would cease to be economically viable.
