  1. In keeping with the theme of watching Shark Tank – we will now justify the reasons for watching that much TV. • You will be creating your own business. You will be inventing a new product or service that could be marketed and sold to a large group of consumers. The product or service must be realistic and appropriate for school (if you have to ask, it is probably not appropriate – hint Mario!!!). Creativity is encouraged but pushing the envelope on appropriateness is not. You must do research in order to determine how to market and how to price the new product or service. All of your information will be presented in a PowerPoint presentation. The PowerPoint must be emailed or brought on a flash drive, or shared on Google Docs. • Two existing PowerPoint presentations will be available on my site to help you organize your presentation and help with your advertisement. (one you are reading now, the other is labeled “Advertising PPT”). Your project must show evidence that you viewed these two presentations in order to assist you in yours. • The power point presentations must be more than just straight forward, bulleted information. It MUST also include photos, animation, sound, etc. The more creative … the better the grade! Remember: You are trying to sell a product here! • You will have to impress a panel of “Sharks” aka Mr. B, who will determine if they want to invest in your company. Make your presentation enjoyable and know your information. - • This is due by Monday, May 27th.
