  3. 1. Vociferous (adj) expressing feelings or opinions in a very loud or forceful way • Clark was very vociferous when he got angry and started defending his passion for Nike shoes.

  4. 2. Vouchers (n) a small printed piece of paper that entitles the holder to a discount or that may be exchanged for goods or services. • Michael got a voucher for a hair washing session at Slam Salon.

  5. 3. Provoke (v) To cause anger or annoyance • Robin angrily yelled at Rob after he pulled her hair to provoke her.

  6. 4. Convocation (n) A large group of people called together • The society of food lovers (SFL) held a convocation for all their members to meet and discuss important matters.

  7. 5. Avocation (n) • a hobby • When Kyle isn’t working his avocation is photography.

  8. 6. Advocate (n) a person who publicly supports or recommends a particular cause or policy. • Dylan is an advocate for animal rights and the environment because he is very caring and thoughtful.
