  2. A river winds its’ way through a stepping-stone bed lined with boulders and rocks from the mountains. The river forms an undulating pool of life, sometimes still, sometimes teeming with energy, eye-catching, changing, always interesting. A principal sings with his students. A soccer team gathers after a difficult game. A father picks up his daughter after school. A family talks. A dance class practices for the program about Native Americans. A class debates our environment. A counselor talks with a sobbing child. Jump Rope for Heart awards are given out. An elderly walker rests before the journey home. The school choir serenades the stars. Chinook Community uses River of Choices.

  9. Dragon Drawing Show W.S.U.R.D.D. Dragon Investigation: The Washington State University Research of Dragons Department has begun recording dragonsightings and dragonactivity in and around Chinook Elementary. If you have seen a dragon in or around your home please draw a picture of it, and we will add it to our Gallery. The plastic scrolls in the gallery are the latest research done by the Dragonologists at W.S.U.R.D.D.. They will continue to add to their notes throughout the show. Please check in frequently for updates. This show will be all about DRAGONS. Bring your drawing of a dragon made of any material to our library and place it on the table next to the Gallery. It will be prepared and hung in the Gallery. Every drawing must be done by a student (present, past, or future) of Chinook Elementary. Good Dragon Hunting The Curator
