  3. What should you know about mystery? • Mystery- Anything that is kept a secret or remains unexplained. • There are many types of mystery • Private eye: A novel written about a private investigator trying to figure out who did it • Espionage: a novel about spying on a person, government, a business, etc. • Romance: Novels of love gone a miss. • Murder: Novels about deaths where who did it just isn’t enough. • Thrillers- Novels that keep you guess until the very end.

  4. What should you know about mystery? Cont. There are many types of mystery you can choose from. You can choose a novel about romance, death, destruction, etc. All of these novels have something different to offer. If you feel like reading a book about the crime of government you might read an espionage novel. If you want to read about lovers and their tragic death then you might pick up a romance novel. Depending on what you want to read depends on the mystery you are going to pick up.

  5. Authors to choose • There are many authors that write mystery stories. Some of these include: • Agatha Christie • Charles Dickens • Nathaniel Hawthorne • Anthony Berkeley • Anthony Price • Ian Flemming • Robert Barnard • Michael Gilbert • Arthur Conna Doyle • Ross Thomas • Ellery Queen • SS Van Dine

  6. What Book should I Choose It may be very difficult for you to choose the book you want to read because there are many you can choose from. My suggestion is for the reader to pick about 3 authors they think they would like to read and from there skim a little from each book and decide which book you and author you would like to read the most.
