  1. Sports Betting Systems There are many betting systems out there that range from very high risk to low risk. Some of the ones we will concentrate on here will be statistical plays, parlay and teaser systems, and straight bet systems.Regardless of which type of system you choose, discipline is always a key factor in limiting your losses and bankroll management. As with all games of skill, they are streaky and anything can happen on any given game or even day or week, but if you keep making high percentage plays you will win in the future. if you are making low percentage high risk, high reward plays such as parlays or teasers, you could be looking at large swings in your bankroll which is extremely hard to manage and requires great skill and discipline. If you need to brush up on the lingo, you can do so on our betting terminology page. If not, let's get into the various types of sports betting systems and you can decide if any of them are right for you. STATISTICAL SYSTEM PLAYS System Play: StatisticalRisk Level: Low Recommendation: High Statistics are great indicators of teams strengths and weaknesses. There are a lot of factors that can go into a statistical system play depending on how in depth you want to be. There are literally hundreds of statistics from very broad down to each players FT percentage or points per possession. A few examples would be: Points per game Offensive Efficiency Defensive Efficiency Turnovers Per Game Weather Road Record History vs Opponent Situation (ie 3rd rd game) Home Record Injuries These are just a few of the many, statistics that can be used to make an educated guess at the outcome of a game. To take that determination to another level, there have been many simulators created based on statistical data that runs thousands of simulations to determine a statistical percentage of wins and losses and a most likely score of the game. This is where the system comes into play. Handicappers take the outcomes predicted by the simulators and measure them against what Vegas has for the line. If these numbers are way off, they bet the statistical advantage. For example, if the

  2. stats predict Seattle will win their game by an average of 10 points and the line is Seattle -3, there is a touchdown difference in the game. A statistical system player would bet Seattle in this instance. The problem with the statistical play is that it doesn't take into account human factors such as emotion in rivalry games, importance of the game to one team or another (for example a team has already clinched home field advantage and may only play their starters 2 quarters) and other factors. This is why when we use our statistical tools to come up with our picks, we also look at human factors and add that into the equation before releasing them to ensure they are as accurate as possible. PARLAY/TEASER SYSTEMS System Play: Parlay/Teaser Risk Level: High Recommendation: Low It is a common misconception that pro gamblers don't bet parlays and teasers. This just simply isn't true. They are just played very sparingly as they are the riskiest of the sports betting systems. As you can see on the parlay odds card below the payoffs increase very quickly as you add teams to your parlay. This is because of the extreme difficulty in hitting large parlays. For the most part parlays should be kept to 3 maybe 4 teams max. Anything over that and you are really just hoping for a jackpot play.Parlays used sparingly and with good timing are great ways to increase your bankroll. You shouldn't be parlaying or teasing every pick we give you in hopes of hitting a 6-0 day for a huge payoff. It's too risky and too rare.Additionally, it's very easy to go 4-2 on the day which would be successful in a straight bet or unit and ranking system, but can easily be a loser if you don't get your parlays lined up right. The bottom line is parlays and teasers are high risk plays and need to be treated as such. Beware of sports betting systems that overplay parlays and promise huge returns. While mixing in a well time parlay can be a great tool to build your bankroll, overplaying will ultimately results in leaks in your play. STRAIGHT BET SYSTEMS System Play: Straight Bet Risk Level: Low Recommendation: Medium Straight bet systems are far and away the most used and safest of the systems. They are very basic and it's very easy to develop the plan and strategy. With a straight bet system you simply bet the same amount on every game regardless of rating and hope to have a positive record at the end of the year. While this system is the lowest in risk, it is also the lowest in payoff. With a straight bet system you aren't able to maximize gains and minimize losses. By always having the same amount bet all games become equal in value and thus you end up a one unit winner minus the juice. It is for this reason that while straight betting systems can be profitable, we feel they aren't the best of the sports betting systems out there. We feel like you can still maximize profits while minimizing risks in other ways such as the unit and ranking system

  3. In conclusion, three are hundreds of sports betting systems out there. We sprinkle a little bit of these sports betting systems above into our preferred strategy.
