  2. Definitions • Denotative- One who is inclined to quarrel or argue; quick to pick a fight or disagree • Connotative- Quarrelsome suggest bad temper and a perverse readiness to bicker. It is often looked at as a negative characteristic of someone or something

  3. Quarrelsome in a sentence • The teacher told the two quarrelsome boys to stop fighting in class or else she would have to write them up
